CONSTRUCTION & MANUFACTURING

Construction & Manufacturing Industry Training Program

The Construction & Manufacturing Training Program at Meihoku Training prepares candidates for hands-on industrial work opportunities in Japan under mainly Technical Intern Training Program (TITP) schemes. 

At Meihoku Training, students gain basic Japanese knowledge , understand Japanese work culture, and develop work ethics for safe and efficient performance on Japanese job sites.

Career & Work Information

  • Visa Options: Technical Intern Training Program (TITP)/ Specified Skilled Worker (SSW Type 1) 
  • Work Locations: Construction sites and manufacturing plants across Japan
  • Stay Duration:
    • TITP (i): 1 year
      TITP (ii): 2 years
      TITP (iii): 2 years (available only if certain requirements are met)
    • SSW Type 1: Up to 5 years
    • Family accompaniment is not permitted under both case unless you receive SSW Type 2. 
    • Able to switch to SSW Type 1 after completing TITP successfully.
  • Future Opportunities:
    • Skill advancement
    • Transition from TITP to SSW (if eligible)
    • Long-term employment and career growth in Japan’s construction and manufacturing sectors if passed at SSW Type 2.

At Meihoku Training Center, we learned Japanese and about life in Japan. The teachers were strict but friendly, and students were grouped by language level for easier learning. A native Japanese teacher was also available, and some lessons were explained in Nepali. The center’s rules and schedules gave us valuable experience before coming to Japan.

Dormitory life at Meihoku Training Center was even better than I expected. I believe that a good environment and comfortable accommodation are essential to study, and Meihoku provided both. The way the teachers taught Japanese was also excellent. Thanks to their support, I was able to study Japanese effectively and fulfill my dream of coming to Japan.

I think Meihoku Training Center is a great place. The teachers taught Japanese in a way that was easy for us to understand, and they had good personalities. The learning environment and the way the teachers guided us were excellent, which helped us pass the JLPT N4 and come to Japan.I’m truly grateful to all the teachers.
